After you enter in all your items you are consigning with The Tidy Closet, you can start printing out all your tags. Please use only one tag per item /set. Also only bar coded tags are accepted. Please follow the guidelines below to make the tagging process quick and easy for you.

CLOTHING

• Please place tag on the left side of the item ( if wearing the item tag should be over the heart)
• Clothing is to be clean, pressed, and hung on hangers
• No use of staples, straight pins or anything else besides safety pins to attach tags to clothing and please use appropriate size safety pin. Example: for a heavy sweater use a med size (standard size) or large. For a t shirt use a medium size or a small. Using a safety pin that is too big leaves holes in the clothing.
• Please button all buttons, zip all zippers, etc
• Please hang clothes on hangers so the front of the item is facing left

SHOES

• Please use zip ties to secure together. (can be purchased at Walmart, Ace hardware)
• Place tag through zip tie.
• If you are using a Ziploc bag please tape tag inside the bag

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

• Please use clear heavy tape or zip ties to place tags on items
• If using a Ziploc bag please tape the tag inside the bag NOT ON OUTSIDE.
• Books: Tags must be taped to the inside back cover. Please use blue painters tape only. (all other tape will tear the book)
• Puzzles, DVD's, Blu-Ray: please tape tag onto item with heavy clear tape.
